Before allowing him into our home, we ran a background check and
called a few references. He passed without a doubt.
There is nothing but good things to say about this guy. Kye is very
respectful in regards to personal space and has more than willing been
open to help out with household chores as needed. He has deep cleaned
his bathroom often, helped us maintain an attractive landscape and
swept and mopped our house when we couldn't. He felt more like family
than a roommate. Which makes us sad he's moving on, but we know he will
fit in well with others.
We've gotten to know him well in the last 2 years and have felt
comfortable enough to let him babysit our son who is now 2 ½ years
old. Our son lovingly runs to him when he gets home and thinks of him
as an uncle figure, which makes him a very special person in our
lives. We plan to maintain our relationship with him in the future.
He was always on time with rent. Not one single late check. Kye also
communicated on a high level, which was deeply appreciated. We hope

Everything is newly built and nice, including all appliances. Large wraparound fenced yard. Large covered back porch on main house. Driveway parking. Garage and shed for storage. Almost dead end street, good neighbors. 5 min walk to bus, Fred Meyer a few blocks away. Walking distance to Powell Butte (600 acres of the best nature park in Portland)

That's when it was sold a couple years ago, before tiny home was added. Now, the yard needs to be rehabbed, and I don't have it furnished like that. Attached pictures of tiny home were taken before current tenant and are pretty accurate to how it is now. I like to take pictures at Powell Butte, added some of those as well.
Fridge, stove, AC, full bathroom with tub and shower. Propane tanks used for hot water and stove. Water and sewer connected.
Unfortunately, any pets will need current, documented ESA status, but it's not difficult to get. Dogs here need to be unusually quiet, basically zero barking.
I'm looking for someone reasonably qualified in terms of income, credit and background, as well as a negotiable deposit in the amount of one month's rent. Water and power will be split 3 ways between yourself and the two of us in the main house. Free internet. If you're just looking to rent temporarily for 1-3 months or so, it would just be an additional $200/month, no utilities or deposit.
If you happen to be looking for some community or social interaction at home, that's an option. If not, there is plenty of privacy. The previous tenant was my nephew and we almost never saw each other, because we were both super busy.
