Hey there!

My situation is a bit unique. I have a blind & deaf Pomeranian-Chihuahua mix (named Kit) and my job often takes me out of state (an estimated schedule will be provided for the year). I am hoping to find a low-key roommate who loves dogs and is interested in helping me care for Kit during those times that I am away (I obviously will cover all expenses for him and I will have backup caretakers in the event of a schedule conflict).

We can work out a payment for this exchange in the form of extra rent that month or a weekly rate. Sometimes I'm gone for a week, sometimes it's a month, and once a year I leave town for the winter and work on the road from the last week of October through NYE.

Ideally you're someone who works from home or doesn't have crazy long shifts away from the house. You'll have the benefit of a place to yourself a lot while I'm gone for work, and even when I'm home I tend to spend a lot of time out of the house if I'm not sleeping in/recovering from travel.

About me:

I love a more quiet home (no after parties) that feels like a sanctuary, but occasional guests are great. Cooking together once in a while is lovely, but I also like to eat out or do my own thing. I am an electronic artist and DJ but I have a studio in SE Portland, so you won't be subjected to production/rehearsals etc.
