My name is Silas Henton, M 39, and just moved back to the U.S. after teaching art in Shanghai, China and Tokyo, Japan for the last 6 years. I am originally from Denver and am currently in Missouri with family. I am looking to move out within the next few weeks to get things set up and settled in the Portland area.

I am mostly looking for a charming place to get situated, connected in settling back in the states. Besides professionally teaching, I am an artist of many processes. My background is sculpture and for fun I used to do chalk art festivals for many years in Denver.. I'm very much an outdoor adventurer like most others. Looking forward to being able to hear more live music again, which is seldom or good in Asia. I love gardening and cooking, and eat fairly healthy, and enjoy taking care of my living space. I'm professionally minded, also a calm life, and rather use weekends for more active days/nights.
