Looking for a roommate to join me in South Salem, OR and move in August 1, 2024 (dates flexible). Your portion of rent is $800 plus electric and internet. 2 bed, 2 bath apartment 1000 sq ft with in-unit laundry, balcony, good-size closet, plenty of natural light, generally quiet neighbors, pool on site. No smoking, one well-behaved pet negotiable.
Neighborhood is South Gateway. Right off Commercial Street, easy access to I-5, grocery, restaurants, Costco, Courthouse Fitness. ~15 minutes downtown by driving, easy access to bus routes 6 and 21.
Surrounding residential area is quiet - one reason I chose it was that I felt comfortable taking a walk out my front door.
I'm new to the area for work. While I have a 8-5 office job as an engineer, I love the outdoors and am a weekend warrior - you'll find me hiking or skiing a ton. I cook most days, read a ton of books, and like group exercise classes. Friends would say I'm caring, loyal, clever, and upbeat.
I would be open to be friends with my roommates; though an occasional meal together could be nice, peaceful co-existence is good, too. I like my space to be generally quiet but am open to hosting get-togethers and occasional overnight guests with some notice. My dishes get done every day, and I keep common spaces organized. I'm generally asleep 11 pm/7am weekdays, 12 pm/9 am weekends.
