Hi! My name is Michelle, and I've been living in nyc now for 8 years. I've been at my place for almost 4 years, and I'm hoping to find a roommate to take over my old roommate's lease! I'll be graduating grad school in August and will be pursuing *fingers crossed* audio production in the fall!
I honestly tend to spend an equal amount of time in my room and in shared spaces. I really love decorating. The apartment has a lot of funky and eclectic stuff around! I also would love to redo some spaces in the future. So your art input is requested.
No pets as of now, but am pet friendly! I'm possibly thinking of adopting a cat, but tbd. It is a pet-friendly building too. On the side, I'm into community organizing as well. If you want to get involved in local politics/ community groups or other advocacy groups around nyc, let me know!
There are a lot of fitness places nearby and a very large Lowes (lol). I weightlift and love to run, so always looking for a partner.

**Apartment Specs:
2 bedroom 1 bath Newly renovated apartment on the second floor of a Pre-War building. A block away from the subway F/G lines & bus routes.
*Location:
I've been here since pre-pandemic and I have truly fallen in love with this place—the neighborhood & apartment. You'd be technically located in Carroll Gardens—but are on the border of Gowanus and Red Hook as well. The apartment is sandwiched between Court and Smith Street where there are tons of cute shops and places to eat. Prospect Park is about 20-min walk / 12-min bike ride. Since you are at the intersection of three neighborhoods you get really interesting vibes all around. Big mix of people and lots of families and dogs in the neighborhood.
*Your Bedroom:
So the rooms are about the exact same size—measurements tbd. Currently, my roommate fits 1 large dresser and 1 smaller dresser, a bedside table, and a full-size bed comfortably. The apartment is a long hallway-style layout so bedrooms are on completely opposite sides for privacy. The bedroom will not be furnished, but the rest of the apartment is fully furnished.
This is a 4/20-friendly household! Chill with most things—but in moderation.
