Murray Hill apartment!!

My apartment is a fourth-floor historic walk-up in the heart of Murray Hill, just a few blocks from Grand Central! It's a spacious unit (basically a whole floor of the building) with loads of privacy (only one other residential tenant!) Additionally, it's conveniently located near lots of grocery stores, restaurants, and bars, and only about a twenty-minute walk from Times Square.

The room itself fits a queen bed and gets the most natural light out of anywhere in the apartment, complete with a walk-in closet for extra storage! There's also a full second bathroom right down the hall that doubles as the laundry room, with the washer connecting to the shower (I would get a longer attachment and move it against the wall so it's not blocking the sink once someone moves in).

Outside, there's a spacious, private balcony that I can't wait to furnish once the weather gets nice!! A little sunroom space connects it to the rest of the unit that I'm currently using for storage. This is my first apartment and I just moved in during the fall, so the living area is still a little bare, but I'm hoping to add more decorations and maybe a console table soon. However, I have a nice couch and a big flat-screen TV!

Still, there are a few cons to the unit. The wiring isn't the best, so sometimes I have to press the reset button on the outlets and restart whatever was plugged into them, and for some reason the lights flicker whenever I use the microwave. There's not a lot of natural light in the living room, as the only windows are in the bedrooms, and there's no AC (but I'm thinking of getting it installed when it gets warmer). Additionally, there's lots of traffic noise that can be heard from the unit, as it's located near the Midtown tunnel.
