Hey Austin! I am looking for 2 new housemates for my upcoming 12 month lease in my current 4 bed, 3 bath home, located in the University Hills neighborhood!
Specs on the home: This house was completely renovated in 2021! It has new hardwood flooring, modern light fixtures, fresh paint, massive new windows throughout the house and more.
The house is on a fairly large property with a massive front and backyard with a firepit area, outdoor dining space with a screened in patio, garden beds and a covered back patio. (The entire backyard is fenced and gated!) very private.
The house is two stories, with 1 bedroom and bathroom on the main floor, and 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on the upstairs floor.
The common areas offer a cozy media space/living room, with our records to spin and our tv for movies and shows!
In the open floor plan, the dining room is connected to the kitchen, where we have a coffee bar area across the wall from our wine and liquor bar. We welcome our next house mates to bring ideas on improving the space were seen fit, rearranging within reason and filling the home with personal furniture, art etc
With the house being large, it has never felt crowded and offers a lot of privacy between the housemates!

About us!
My name is Costa! I will also be moving into the house on April 1st! I am a 28 year old artist who spends a lot of time drawing and writing, either at home or anywhere else, like cafes and parks. As a full time working professional, I work remotely, but I usually work at cafes, with the occasional stay at home work day on my computer. I am originally from Cyprus in the Mediterranean, but I have been living in Austin since 2021, wanting to build a home base and community here in Austin. I enjoy all kinds of music, from world music to funk and rock music, traveling and spending quality time in meaningful community. I would say I’m gentle, caring and I care deeply about the people around me, taking the time to listen and appreciate!
My housemate and friend’s name is Lindsey! She’s 29 and works in the arts doing curation, community events and production. She has been in this home for over a year and plans to stay as long as life allows! It’s a true gem. She also work full time doing handy lady work, art installations and works for a cafe for their business development! She stays fairly busy, but when she’s not working, she loves hosting dinner gatherings, two stepping, running, or working on home projects like gardening, tending to her plants and spinning her favorite new record. She loves connecting with nature, tending to her home and maintaining a cozy space at the house by cleaning and adding new décor!
Lindsey has one cat named Nuni- he’s the easiest going dude with zero history of potty issues or aggression, is extremely gentle, and is a big sucker for kisses and cuddles. A bit shy around big groups of people or pets but once you win him over he will cuddle you till your heart explodes.
I have a golden retriever named Loumi- I co-own Loumi with a close friend so she will not always be around but I sometimes have her for a few days on end at a time. She is super sweet and gentle and enjoys people’s company and is very friendly. She loves to play or cuddle and is generally very quiet and relaxed!

As friends and housemates, our hope is to find 2 additional likeminded people to fill the house, that align with what we are hoping to instill in the home.
We are looking for other mature, stable and employed, late 20’s to mid 30’s professionals who have their hobbies and own self development unfolding, that still value building community in the home with us. We both expect someone who is accountable, respectful and considerate not only to the upkeep of the home, but to each other. Lindsey and I both share the same attitude of “if you see it, handle it!” we both take initiative and responsibility when something needs attention around the home, never waiting for someone else to handle it for the rest of us. Only interested in living with CLEAN, respectful, caring people that are focused on themselves and solution oriented. I have lived with inconsiderate/messy people before and will not be doing that again! Please do a self analysis on this before reaching out.
(Might I add that we are progressive people that have diverse circles and maintain safe space for other queer & brown peoples and tolerate zero discrimination. We do not have interest in inciting people to live in our home that do not share this same importance.)
We both appreciate our privacy and solitude, but also share the same desire to truly build a sense of genuine community in the house, share meals, music, and special memories. We want to avoid a house dynamic that feels like we are back living in dorms.
We both are in a position in life where we are excited to share resources, friend groups, time etc. to uplift and do life with others and would like to welcome others in, that share the same sentiment, but also value boundaries and being independent!
Room number 1 is $650 Room number 2 is $750 All utilities (electric, gas, water and wifi) are split 4 even ways. Typically equals out to about 130 a month depending on the season.
