About Me

hi everyone!

My name is Philip. I currently live in San Diego, CA but i’m looking to make the move to NYC with my dog Lucy (4 year old lab mix) around February, March or April of next year. i’m open to joining an existing dog-friendly space or teaming up with 1-2 others who share the same values and are looking to move into the city around the same time frame.

About me:

- I’m a full time freelance photographer, focusing mainly on weddings.

- I enjoy spending time with my dog, running, street photography, exploring the city (coffee shops and bookstores especially) and connecting with others in the creative field.

- I love warm and welcoming spaces (big sucker for natural light), and hope to live in a place that embodies that! ideally would love to live with others that want to create a beautiful space/meaningful relationships, and want to live somewhere where you’re free to be yourself and not feel like you’re walking on eggshells.

- About Lucy: i adopted her from a shelter 3 years ago! she is super sweet, well behaved and quiet, so there won’t be any issues with noise/barking or aggressiveness. she can be a bit timid and shy at first with new people, but she warms up quickly. She's super easy and pretty much chills all day! I got so lucky with her. Fetch is her favorite activity 🙂 Living with another dog is totally okay with us (as long as they are compatible), but prefer a place with no cats.

- i personally do not smoke, but don't mind if you do as long as it's outside/not in the house.

Things I currently own & use, and would love to bring with me & share (also prepared to downsize, because ya know, NYC kitchen space lol)

- Breville Barista Pro Espresso Machine
- Fellow Grinder/Pourover Coffee setup
- Nutribullet for da smooooothies.

My budget is between $1000-$1500.

Neighborhoods: I’m pretty open and flexible, but ideally i’m looking into the neighborhoods surrounding Prospect Park and north of that (Bed Stuy, Clinton Hill, Boerum Hill, Williamsburg, Greenpoint, etc). Also open to UWS/UES. Walking distance to a park is ideal, for dog reasons!
