I'm a clean, considerate roommate currently working in public health. I'm in my early 30s and in my free time I like to keep active with a mix of hobbies, including hiking, reading, drawing, baking (and sharing my baked goods) and playing boardgames or video games. My ideal roommate might enjoy grabbing the occasional meal together but that isn't necessary.

This apartment is conveniently located one block from the Woodley Park metro station elevator (Red Line in DC) and nearby many restaurants, small grocery stores, a CVS and Rock Creek Park. During this pandemic, this location has been great for my well-being as I am able to walk and explore my surroundings safely.
The living room and dining room area are fairly large and come with most of the furniture in the photos. However, there is room for additional furniture should you have some. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots and pans and dishwasher. Your bedroom is spacious, allows lots of natural light in (southwest exposure), has a walk-in closet, and window-unit AC. It comes with two bedside drawers and a small bookshelf.
Utilties average to about $50/month, which includes Internet, gas, and electricity.
* The apartment is MUCH cheaper than it should be because it's been rent-controlled since 2007. You would be a top-level leaser (i.e., not subleasing).
