Hello all, my name is Ben and I have a room available for $1,800 in my 2bd/1ba apartment in a prime block of the Lower East Side starting February 1st. The apartment is on Ludlow Street between Stanton and Rivington, and you’ll be living with me, a mid-twenties male working in finance. My current roommate is moving out and the room can come furnished with a desk, bed and lamp if you prefer.
The apartment is a third floor walkup in a renovated and keyless entry building with a virtual doorman and garbage chutes on every floor. The room itself is very spacious and can fit a large desk + chair, nightstand, mounted TV and queen bed. There is a huge closet with shelving and overhead storage, as well as a big window with tons of natural sunlight. There is also rooftop access with 360 views of everything surrounding LES.
Neighborhood is incredibly vibrant with a ton of restaurants, nightlife and art galleries nearby, not to mention it’s a block away from the F/M/J/Z trains so Midtown, FiDi and Brooklyn are super accessible. You can easily walk to SoHo, East Village, Chinatown and Greenwich Village in less than 10 minutes. Popular bars like Mr. Purple, Pianos and Kind Regards are across the street. Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, Target and Equinox are less than a 5 minute walk.
