1BR in Shared 2BR - Ground Floor of House

This is an extremely good deal for large 2 bedroom apartment that has good sized bedrooms, but also two other large shared rooms on the full main floor of a house. You will get a large bedroom and the large west-facing dining room to do with mostly as you please (keeping in mind it and the front room are shared). There are windows in every room and large windows in the shared rooms that are at the front and back of the house. The kitchen has lots of cupboards and there is coin laundry in the basement. It is at Jane and Annette, so it is easy to get the bus a few stops south to get on the subway.

A couple of years ago I looked for a place for just myself and everything was so small and expensive! So I went looking for something larger I could share and found a great one! I have had a great roommate for two years, but sadly he has to move in mid November. The rent (2450) and bills (hydro/internet) will be split evenly between you and me. There is no free parking, but on-street parking is available in the area. I have two sweet Bengal cats (the breed sheds very little and is considered hypoallergenic), so no room for more cats or dogs. Very uncharacteristically for Toronto, there are FIVE closets. The closet square footage alone in this place rivals some of the crappy apartment listings I saw… I strongly support my LGBT+ friends and value diversity. Our apartment will be a queer positive space and discrimination (race/gender/religion/etc.) will not be tolerated. There is no smoking in the apartment and the landlord has requested no smoking of cannabis on the property, so we will be respecting that.

About me: I’m 47 (he/him) and work in print production, 4 days per week in the office and one day from home. I am kind, empathetic, vaccinated, atheist, and very far from conservative. In my spare time I like playing games on my computer, watching basketball, playing DnD and going for dinner/drinks with friends. I come as a package with 2 adorable Bengal kitties (Becky and LeBron James). Clean, respectful, communicative - I’ve navigated having roommates before and know how to make it work. I’m looking for someone who wants to share this great space with me (and Becky and LeBron James) and enjoy being at home there - someone I will actually enjoy having in my home. I don’t cook every day, but it would be nice to share a meal every now and then. I am an omnivore, drink socially sometimes, and don’t smoke (cannabis or tobacco), but don’t care if you do as long as you don’t smoke cigarettes in the apartment or cannabis on the property. I am allergic to perfumes/scents.
