I’m a friendly and professional working in digital advertising sales with an affectionate cat who prefers to be the only animal in residence. I seek a respectful, low-key, cat-friendly, clean roommate who is also non-smoking (no cannabis, tobacco or vaping, please) and comfortable removing their shoes at the door. I have a hybrid work schedule so I’m going into the office about two days a week. I work from 9a-6p from Monday through Friday. On the evenings and weekends, I’m often out having dinner with friends, enjoying Prospect Park, playing golf, volunteering, attending fitness classes, etc. If you're up for it, let's hang out for happy hour, dinner, Prospect Parks walks, yoga, or doing something else fun a few times a month. THE BEDROOM
One bedroom available in a two-bedroom, two-bathroom unit with an outside patio located on the second floor of a sunny elevator building 0 blocks (it's right in front of the building!) from the Franklin Avenue–Medgar Evers College 2/3/4/5/S. The room available for rent is quiet and includes a full closet, a desk alcove, and direct access to a shared outdoor patio. You will also have your own private bathroom equipped with both a shower and a bathtub. The private bathroom is not ensuite, but very close to the bedroom. Note: All furniture in the bedroom will be removed before move-in. Please inquire about the sleeper sofa if you’re interested in purchase.

THE APARTMENT & BUILDING

There is a spacious living area that accommodates both living and dining setups and the open kitchen features an island with ample counter space.
THE NEIGHBORHOOD
Discover urban living in one of Brooklyn’s most desirable neighborhoods, Crown Heights. Just seconds away from the Franklin Avenue–Medgar Evers College 2/3/4/5/S subway stop. Enjoy proximity to grocery stores (Union Market and Bob & Betty’s), restaurants (pizza at Barboncino, sushi at Silver Rice, Italian at Aita, burgers at Franklin Park, etc.), coffee shops, and bars. WHAT’S INCLUDED/NOT INCLUDED
Rent does not include electricity, wi-fi, and shared cleaning supplies. We’ll split the electric and wifi ($41 your half) bill in half every month. Over the past year, the electricity bill averaged $290 per month with the highest month at $450 in February and lowest month at $175 in May.
One month security deposit and the first month rent are requested one week prior to move-in date. Roommate will be paying rent to the lease holder who lives in the apartment.
