Hi there! My name’s Harley, and I’m looking for a shared housing situation in San Francisco that’s not just a place to live but a space to thrive. Here’s a bit about me and what I’m hoping to find:
About Me
• Creative Soul: I’m a writer working on my first poetry book, which is both a personal passion project and a source of healing. I also love exploring creative outlets like jewelry-making, kumihimo braiding, and designing unique jackets.
• Licensed Cosmetologist & Student Barber: I’m a licensed cosmetologist currently in school for barbering. I’m passionate about helping people feel confident and look their best, and I love learning new techniques to perfect my craft.
• Mental Health Advocate: I live with depression and PTSD and am actively working on my healing journey. I value kindness, empathy, and open communication and hope to find housemates who share those values.
• Cat Lover: I have a sweet (sometimes overenthusiastic) cat named Norman who loves to nap and keep me company.
• Balance of Social and Quiet: I enjoy cozy, peaceful nights but also love connecting over good conversations, exploring the city, or sharing creative projects.
• Seeking Joy: I’m in a phase of life where I’m prioritizing happiness, growth, and meaningful connections.
What I’m Looking For
• A Place to Grow: I’d love a home with enough space to have a shared art room where everyone can create, brainstorm, or just chill in an inspiring environment.
• Backyard Bliss: A backyard would be amazing—not just for Norman but for all of us to enjoy some outdoor time and greenery.
• A Clean and Comfortable Home: I think having a housecleaner would be a great way to keep things tidy without adding stress to anyone’s plate.
Budget & Roommate Goals
• Budget: I can afford up to $1,500 a month and am looking to share with 3-4 other women to create a harmonious and supportive space.
• Getting to Know You: I’d like to spend a few months getting to know potential housemates to ensure we’re a good fit before committing to a lease together.
Why Shared Housing?
Life in SF can feel isolating, and I believe shared housing can be a source of connection, creativity, and support. I’d love to find housemates who value creating a friendly, respectful home—one where we can share occasional meals, enjoy creative collaborations, or just unwind together.
What I Bring to the Table
• A cooperative, friendly, and respectful attitude.
• Creative energy and a passion for making our home feel inspiring and warm.
• My skills as a licensed cosmetologist—maybe we can have fun doing DIY spa nights or experimenting with new hair and beauty trends!
• A willingness to contribute to household harmony—whether through chores, hiring a cleaner, or ensuring Norman doesn’t monopolize the best sunlit spots.
If this sounds like something you’d be interested in, let’s connect! I’d love to hear more about you and what you’re looking for in a home.
