Looking for a roommate in my Bushwick apartment. The place is available starting on May 1 with flexibility to move in a week earlier. Rent is $1414, plus utilities. Does not come furnished although maybe the outgoing roommate will sell you some of her stuff?
ABOUT THE PLACE: It's the back (as in non-street-facing) bedroom in a 2br/1ba, second-floor walkup, located three minutes walking from the Knickerbocker M and 6 minutes from the Dekalb L. Close to tons of grocery stores, coffee shops, and bookstores, plus bars and other nightlife.
ABOUT ME: 34F, work in media. I go into work 2/3 days a week and tend to keep a pretty busy social schedule meeting up with friends or going to events/hobbies, but that all happens outside the apartment. I cook a lot, but try to keep common spaces tidy. *NOTE: I have a cat, and she's sweet but shy—no other pets please*
ABOUT YOU: thirties or mid-late twenties, tidy, responsible, also not a homebody so we'd each get some time in the apartment to ourselves!
