Living in NYC is a wonderful, exciting and a challenging experience.
One of the most important things is feeling you have a safe place where you live, to make sure you always have a great place to prepare for the challenges you will face as you walk out the door and living here is a great place to start.
I work a lot and sometimes you will see me and sometimes you won't. My schedule for work is very flexible and I am looking for someone who is okay with that.
Cleanliness is really important to me. I make sure that I clean as I go, whether in the kitchen or the bathroom. I have had roommates who think I am their maid. With the next roommate I am looking forward to having a system that works for both of us. We can get a maid 2 x's a month or we can make a schedule, but based on my experience, I need to know someone is on board with regularly cleaning.
Cool note about me, I wrote a survival guide for NYC, so I am great roommate to have, especially if you have never lived here, as I know a lot about making this city work for you.
