Sublet Spacious 1bd/1ba furnished apartment in Shaw

Hello!

My name is Jack, I’m an associate at a law firm in DC looking for someone to sublet my furnished apartment in Shaw from January to mid-July 2025.

It’s an ~800 square foot 1 Bedroom/1 bath (there’s also a den which I use as an office, but I’ll likely be storing my things there. If you’d like to use it we can discuss) on the ninth floor of an elevator building located on 9th and V.

Apartment specs:

King-sized bed, air mattress and pullout couch if you’ve friends who’d like to visit (restoration hardware; comfiest pullout you’ve ever slept on…), washer/dryer in unit, Walk-in closet, electric stove, oven, coffee machine & grinder, pressure cooker, microwave, etc. etc. trash/recycling chute on floor. TVs in bedroom and living room – Amazon and HBO max subscriptions. Dining table seats six, and can be expanded to seat eight.

It’s a full amenity, brand-new building (construction completed in April ‘23) with a rooftop pool (opens Memorial Day), grills, rooftop common space, gym, doorman, and study rooms on the first floor.

The building is conveniently located a 4 minute walk away from the U st metro station (green line); 2 min walk from the 64 bus (to commute to Penn Quarter/Federal triangle). Whole Foods, CorePower, cafe unido (coffeehouse famous in the DC hipster community) are all a 2 min walk. On the social front, plenty of bars and restaurants a few minutes away on U street (or catch a show at the storied 9:30 club a 30 second walk from your front door), with 14th and U (one of the main drags for going out) a short 12 min walk away.

Rent is $3,450 plus utilities and internet.
