Hi y'all, I'm Will and I'm from New York State. I am 30 years old. I have been living in this apartment for 8 years and been in NYC for 12.
Please check out the detailed listing for the space I'm renting out below my profile info! I'm looking for either:
a new roommate for 2 years to join the lease starting July 1 ($1240/mo)
OR
a summer sublet for a furnished room for just July & August (lower price but only for summer sublet)
I am a teacher and musician, playing and teaching mostly guitar and keyboard professionally as a full-time job. Currently, my job has been teaching from home; normally I commute to school in Brooklyn. I also run an opera company. Whenever I’m not working, I like to watch movies and enjoy the apartment. I like to cook. I like keeping a clean home, putting everything back in its place when I’m done using it. I like having a roommate who is willing to contribute equal time and expense in keeping the apartment tidy.
I don't have friends over too often. When producing a show (a few weeks 3 or 4 times a year), I may have performers over a few times to run-through and practice material at the piano and may occasional give lessons from home during the day to live students after the pandemic. I would like to start a movie club after the pandemic is over. I'm definitely glad to have common interests with a roommate and for us also both to feel like we have our alone space. Overnight guests are not frequent and never more than a night in a row. I am a queer person.
I currently do not eat mammals but I generally eat/cook everything else. I drink only on occasional social occasions. I'm 420-friendly. I have three taxidermy animals in the home: a fox, a raccoon, and a magpie. They were humanely sourced and are quite beautiful!
My current roommate is a lawyer and she'll be moving out sometime in June. You'll definitely be able to move in July 1 and possibly earlier! I hope to hear from you.
