About Me

Hi, I studied in Boston before working in Austin, Texas. I recently landed a job in NYC starting December 9th. Being both non-neurotic and agreeable, I'm generally easy to live with. My interests include exercise, working on various projects, and socializing. While I have phases when I go out a lot, I've never been an excessive drinker, so I'm a quiet roommate when coming home. I typically keep earlier hours during the workweek. I am novelty-seeking and prefer new experiences over comfortable or even enjoyable ones. Ideally, I should be out of the apartment most of the time or working on something.

Since I prefer working in person, I'll be at the office all five days. While I get free meals at work and I don't cook much, I'm aiming to cook once a week - though that's just a tentative goal. I'm a very clean person and appreciate tidiness and organization but have a high tolerance when things aren't perfect. I like dogs and am happy to live with them, though I won't be able to help with their care.

For neighborhoods, I'm looking at Williamsburg, Lower East Side, East Village, West Village, and Chinatown - these areas consistently come up as recommendations. My workplace is near the L train stop in Chelsea, so I'm hoping to find a place within a 20-minute commute, whether by public transit, bike, or on foot.
