I am looking for an easy going, pet-friendly roommate to either a) apartment hunt and sign a lease or b) sublet/take over your lease. My move-in date is flexible, but I would like to find a place by March 1.
A little bit about me: I am 30, work in PR and am clean/organized.I am originally from Long Island, went to prep school in Andover Mass, college in California and then lived and worked in DC for 4 years. I work really late hours, so I am not usually home during the week. I believe keeping common areas are important to keeping the peace and like to have a clean living environment.
My max budget is $1500 per month. I would prefer to spend less, but could be flexible for the right opportunity.
As i mentioned earlier, you must be pet-friendly because I have a 4 year old, hypoallergenic and very well-behaved dog named Boots. She is incredibly friendly, house trained and doesn't bark. I have had a roommate ever since I got her and think it's important to state up front that she is my responsibility—I have a dog walker come every day during the week and won't ever ask you to walk her/watch her unless you want to! In addition, she won't hinder the apartment search because she is a "service dog" — she was certified as an emotional support animal years ago because when i had more time we used to go to local children's hospitals so she could play with sick kids.
My maximum monthly budget | 1,500 |
Move in Date | Mar 2019 |
Lease Duration | 1 Year |
Age | 31 |
Occupation | Communications |
Pets | Dog |
Hometown | Garden City, New York |
Education | Uc Berkeley |
Relationship Status | Single |
We think Emily Jane would be a great roommate! But in case you want to see more…
