Hi I'm Nick, I am 28 years old and currently working as a Chef in a restaurant in Manhattan. I am currently looking for a roommate who is interested in moving into my two bedroom apartment on the Upper East Side as my current roommate will be moving out by 1/31/25. The new lease would start on 2/1/25 so I would need somebody that is able to move in by that date and able to sign the lease before the New Year.
I live on east 90th street near Lexington Avenue, in a very clean, quiet, and well-maintained walk-up just a few blocks away from the 86th street subway (4, 5, 6, Q), shops and restaurants. The apartment is a two-bedroom, one bath, on the 5th floor with good light, a shared living room, and open kitchen. It faces the back of the building and is very quiet. You would have the larger bedroom which easily fits a queen size bed, a large desk, and a dresser. The bedroom has two closets and two windows. The rent is $1,900 per month. There is no laundry in the building, but there is a laundromat two blocks from the building. All monthly bills such as ConEd, Wifi, and household items would be split 50/50.
I am very outgoing, flexible and easy to get along with and also looking to make new friends. I enjoy running, cooking, music, sports, movies and hanging out and meeting new people. I am respectful of others space and clean and responsible.
As I need to sign the renewal lease before the New Year, I am on a tight deadline so if you are interested please reach out to me immediately. I am happy to share photos and show the apartment in person to people who are interested.
