Two current roommates:
Trevor - I'm a 28-year-old aspiring yogi, NOT the Instagram kind, with a background in neuroscience and a quite conscientious personality. I'm a very active dude both physically (running, hiking, bouldering, yoga, soccer) and in the woo-woo hippy spirituality sense (meditation, Yoga, occasional experiment with psychedelics) with a good dose of scientific curiosity about the world. I cook most meals and eat mostly vegan/vegetarian - I don't judge other people's eating habits but do appreciate when others are mindful about the animal products they consume. Love to collaborate on meals if that's what you're into - I've honed a pretty solid chef's intuition over quarantine and know a whole lot about nutritional science/metabolics! I like to spend my free time reading, playing guitar, hanging around fires with friends, and biking around to explore new places. Oh and LOVE going to concerts. Forgot about those... And as I'm sure you have deduced, I partake in a little marijuana consumption pretty regularly. Big plant guy in every respect.
Nick - I’m 26 and starting a job in data science for public policy. I have some similar hobbies and interests to Trevor’s, minus the woo-woo. I try to spend my free time hanging out (often smoking) with friends, running in the city or on trails, playing video games, watching good TV, checking out local bars and restaurants, cooking (I’m pescatarian but don’t have any preference for that in roommates), and reading. I consider myself pretty conscientious as a roommate and appreciate that in others, which I think means being tidy, thoughtful, and accommodating, but also flexible and willing to compromise so that everyone can enjoy themselves. Being totally new to the city, I definitely wouldn’t mind roommates who are interested in hanging out and checking out the area together, but I don’t necessarily expect that and value everyone having privacy and space when they want it.

Hey!
Looking to fill the two rooms and shared bathroom on the main floor in our 4br house in Bethesda (a few steps away from Woodmont Triangle). The address is 4705 Rosedale Avenue, Bethesda, MD 20814. Year-long lease begins July 15th. Rent is $1,100 for each room and security deposit is also $1,100. There will be a (very friendly) cat in the house, so if you are severely allergic or want to bring a cat of your own, we're unfortunately not the house for you!
Here's a video tour of the house provided by the landlords:
https://vimeo.com/524609460/36875a3e06
Room 1, video 1:53-2:14, $1100/month
Comes with a queen-sized bed/bed frame and dresser you see in the video
Room 2, video 2:18-2:35 $1100/month
Furnished with everything you see in the video minus the TV and TV stand. The bed/frame is full-sized, and the bookcase is used as a wardrobe.
Shared (2) bathroom, 2:46-3:03, recently updated
The landlords are a young couple who live next door - they've put in a lot of work into the house in the last couple of years (updating bathrooms etc) and generally seem like really nice, attentive people. They use the gym located in the small building in the backyard, which we'll also be allowed to use as long as we're not dbags about it. So not an entirely hands-off landlord situation, but again they seem really cool. Trevor and I have purchased the main floor living area furniture (sofa chairs/couch) from the previous tenant and the rest of the common space furniture comes with the house. This includes a dining room set, sunroom table/chairs, and basement furniture and TV.
We're both students in our mid/late 20's graduating from data analytics masters programs at Carnegie Mellon. Both moving to the DC area for new jobs starting late this summer. Both working full time, unclear what the breakdown will be remote/in the office but I'd anticipate mostly in the office work.
