I'm looking for two roommates to fill the 2 open rooms in my amazing 3 bedroom/1 bath apartment in Astoria. Move in date is Oct 1st, but could be flexible for the right person.
I love staying active and being outdoors. I tend to keep a busy life style, though COVID has me spending more time at home (including working from home most days). At home I love to cook and bake, read, and relax by occasionally binging t.v. I'm independent and love my alone time but enjoy living with people that will be social when sharing common spaces and enjoy conversing or sharing a meal now and then.
I'm very respectful, clean, and extremely COVID conscious. Drug free and a non-smoker.

Available Room for Rent
2 Open Bedrooms in renovated 3 Bdrm/1 bath apartment (Avail Oct 1st)
Sadly, my roommates are both moving out of my spacious, renovated 3 bedroom/1 bath apartment due to COVID. I am trying to find 1 person to fill each room (2 people total). Rooms are available Oct 1st (later move in date may be possible) for $1000/month per room + utilities.
Room #1: 7.5 ft x 18 ft. with 6 west-facing windows, this room gets tons of great light. The closet is outside of the room and is a good size. The room is on the opposite side of the apartment as the two other rooms.
Room #2: 9ft bx 15ft. Located at the back of the apartment, this room is very quiet and gets great light in the morning/daytime. There is a closet in the room.
The apartment is on the 2nd floor of a 2-story home nestled between Broadway and 30th Ave on a quiet tree-lined street. It’s an 8-minute walk to the N/W and 12 min walk to the R. It has a spacious living room, separate dining room, kitchen with stainless steel appliances (including dishwasher), and lots of closet space throughout. The apartment is kept very clean with common spaces free of clutter. The apartment is furnished except for the two available rooms. When it's not the times of COVID, this space is great for hosting occasional dinner parties or game nights, but we keep the gatherings calm and low-key. The lease is month to month, but I'd ask a new roommate to sign a sublease agreement.
**Move in date is Oct 1st, but 1 room is available immediately, if needed. I can also be flexible regarding a later move-in date for the ideal roommate situation.
Rent/Utilities: $1000 for each room. We pay extra for internet, heat, hot water, gas and electric. With 3 people living here, on average it's been $100 per month (per person) for all utilities (more in winter, less in spring/fall/summer). The utilities would be split evenly. You must provide a security deposit (equal to 1 month's rent) before move-in.
