I've lived in my cozy Bushwick apartment for the last 6 years and was one of the original roommates after the building was renovated. The room is large enough to fit a queen bed, has tall ceilings, and comes with a large closet. It's a pretty modern building, so you'll get a lot of amenities for a pretty low monthly rent, including washer/dryer in unit, dishwasher, and central A/C and heat. You'll have direct contact with the landlord, and he's extremely responsive. I've only had to contact him a few times about issues (a couple instances of the A/C unit breaking down and for some repairs on the washing machine), and he's always been quick to either come check out the issue or hire a contractor to come fix the issue ASAP.
I'm moving out because I'm moving in with my girlfriend. You'll have 3 lovely roommates, all in their late 20s or early 30s. All of them are working professionals, so we mostly keep to ourselves and keep things pretty quiet during the day. Sometimes we'll hang out over a beer or wine, have a meal together, or watch a movie, but we mostly keep to ourselves. They're looking for someone like-minded who will be respectful of the space and of each other.

Looking for someone to take over my spacious room in a 4 bedroom Bushwick apartment. Move in would be June 1st, and long term is preferable.
The room can easily fit a Queen bed (full-sized bed pictured) and a desk. It also includes a large closet with a shelf, so there's a lot of space. Rent is $800 + utilities which are usually around $80 - 90/month (electric, gas, and internet).
The apartment has 1 full and 1 half bath. There's a washer and dryer IN UNIT (pictured) and a dishwasher in the kitchen. Central heat and air. 2nd floor walkup in a 3 floor building. Walking distance to the J, M, and L trains with some great grocery stores and restaurants nearby.
You'd be sharing the space with 3 other working professionals in the late 20s and early 30s. One is fully working from home, and the other two are hybrid, so the apartment is pretty quiet most of the time. All roommates either have the full vaccine or are half vaccinated, and we're all very careful about getting tested after travel or clearing any houseguests. Everyone is super respectful and very chill.
You'll need first month and security ($800 + $800) to move in. I'm also selling the bed (a Purple Mattress that's 3 years old) and the bed frame if you're interested for an extra $500. Message me for more details or if you want to schedule a visit (we can also do a Zoom/Facetime walkthrough if you prefer).
