My name is Brigid and I work as a corporate fundraiser for Food Bank For New York City. My roommate Cory is a bartender for a high end restaurant in Hudson Yards. We live in a huge, beautiful three bedroom in Washington Heights and we're looking for a new roommate for October 1st.
We've been friends since college and are both really outgoing and friendly people. Given Cory's hours we almost never cross paths but he is extremely quiet and courteous when he gets home every night and I do the same in the mornings. Between the two of us we have a cat and a dog who are both loving and sweet and totally down for cuddles if that's your sort of thing.
The room we're looking to fill is the largest in the apartment with two full size windows. The apartment is located just one block from the 1 train, four blocks from the C train and eight blocks from the A train. Rent is $1,140 a month plus utilities (it's never been more than $1,200 all included). There is laundry in the building and great coffee shops and grocery stores all within a few blocks.
