Semi Retired. Operated my business for 19 years. I like to stay active. I am concistent about takeing regular care of my home, my dog and my house. I am told I am amiable/passive what ever that means. I have quite a personal history. I attempt to appreciate every day a new opportunity. Working on a new wardobe. Don't laugh . I like to grill and appreciate some who has better culinary skills.
I have a rule. All disputes by either party are discussed at a set time. Usually no alcohol involved.
Obviously at my age I didn't intend on a housemate. I just have a lot of unused space. I have been priced out of a smaller place the Decatur market which I like.
This will be a process for me. The room has been vacant about a year while maintenance was performed. Last tenant was 18 months. Job loss.
I came from a time when Creative Loafing was the go to for house mates.

N.Decatur at Church, share 4/3 with one other.
Room is ground level walk out to patio. Washer/Dryer on same level. Cleaning service every other week.. I have had a house mate for more than 15 years. No one is perfect meet me half way.
Fully functioning kitchen, deck with grill on main level. The room is 17X15 estimate. New, paint, flooring, closet has been upgraded.
Parking is parking in Decatur. Single drive. Access code allow entry to the room via the garage.
NON SMOKER. i tend to be a clean person and my home is the same.
What has worked well is someone who works a 9:00-5:00 most of the time with occassional work at home. Negotiable.
Community is tucked away in the 66 units. Neighbors are great. I would prefer a gay male.
2300 square feet provides space for privacy.
I am respectful of sound especially if you get up early. Example: I would not start a load of cloths in the washer located outside your room.
Prefer a backround check, credit rating. Have lived in the same location 2 years. All about circumstances.
Four blocks from the Avondale Marta Station. Close to down town Decatur. Shopping and services close to Whole Foods. N. Decatur Road @ Church
