My name is Hanna (she/her). I'm 27 years old. I work as a glass artist in Boston. I work roughly a 9-5 for a glass caster. In my spare time I love to go on hikes, go to shows, go camping, go dancing, shop, etc. I have a really awesome orange maine coon cat named Rags. He's 2ft 4in tall. I have a go with the flow type of attitude, but I also have a opinions and like to be open when it comes to issues. I have a decent amount of plants, more are welcome and encouraged. I smoke weed, and I drink occasionally. I love horror movies. I have a funky and loving group of friends. I don't often have guests, but they will come around time to time.

-ABOUT THE APARTMENT-
Move in date is negotiable.
Small security deposit wanted.
I live in a three bedroom apartment on the second floor of a three story house in Cambridge. The rent is $1800 total, though utilities and WIFI are not included.The kitchen and living room are both fairly large in addition to a decent sized bathroom, spare room (unoccupied third bedroom), and we would each have a good sized bedroom. Although the building is old, the bathroom has been recently re-done and kitchen appliances are only a few years old. The common spaces are furnished (couches, dining room table etc) however your room will be completely empty and additional common space pieces may be welcome depending on size.
The bedroom has been freshly painted white, and has two large windows and a closet.
There is a yard that is going to be redesigned in the spring and we have our own private porch on our floor. There's a washer and a dryer in the basement, as well as an area to store things. As tenants we, and the other floors, are responsible for shoveling the sidewalk during the winter, bringing the trash barrels in and out on trash day, and paying ten dollars a month for unlimited laundry (only if we do laundry that month). The apartment is month to month, but I would like to know two months in advance if you plan to move out.
All of our neighbors are nice and sociable. Our landlords live down the street, but do not bother us whatsoever.
-NEIGHBORHOOD-
The apartment is located in Central Square in Cambridge. It's on the red line. It is about a 5 minute walk from Walgreens and Wholefoods, and about a 10 minute walk from Mass Ave where many stores, bars, and restaurants are located. It is about a 3 minute drive from the Mass Pike and to Storrow Drive. The apartment is next to a baptist church that practices a night a week and has service on Sundays. The area is residential parking, but there are metered spots out front and a street that is free parking near by.

I am looking for one female or non-binary roommate who is willing to stay for a minimum of 8-12 months. I would love to find someone who is easy-going, but will also help keep the common areas clean and cares about the space they live in. You have to be financially stable, and I would love it if this place could feel like a home for the both of us! While having guests over every now and then is certainly okay, I wouldn’t want constant foot traffic or parties taking place. Although I only want to live with one other person for the time being, we can discuss the option of bringing in another roommate down the road. Unfortunately, I can’t allow any other cats or dogs in the home as my cat, while very sweet, has specific needs as far as diet, stress level, etc due to a urinary disease. Smaller animals such as a rodent, reptile, etc should work out just fine however. All and all, I’m looking for someone who will be nice and respectful to myself, our home and my cat.
We will start off emailing, then move onto a zoom interview due to Covid-19.
