Affordable place with two quirky nerd roommates with quick ADHD-fueled wit and two elderly cats
We need a roommate/s and know somebody out there needs a place to live. The house is in south-east Round Rock near AW Grimes and Gattis school. Quiet suburban neighborhood near a Randall's, a super HEB, two CVS, a Starbucks, and a Dutch Bros. There's parking in the driveway and a big back yard with a patio.
Also! We didn't lose power during Snowvid 2021. Don't know if that was luck or what.
We have a nice 11x11 (ish) carpeted room upstairs with window ledge, ceiling fan, closet, and bathroom across the hall. It alreadyhas a queen sized bed but the mattress is old so if you have your own mattress feel free to bring it. We so have 2 cats so allergy sufferers might want to consider that. Downstairs we have 2 fridges with freezer, gas stove, microwave, dishwasher, and garbage disposal. We recycle. There's some limited space for storage in the garage and an outdoor shed for big items like an extra couch or something. You'll be responsible for cleaning your bathroom since you will be the only one using it. Michael works from home in the upstairs office next to your room but generally keeps to himself during the day (focuses better that way).
Rent will be $650/month plus 1/3 of utilities, pest control, internet. (~850 for everything included) We can negotiate on splitting things like groceries as the need arises.

I will be having a major surgery in a few months and my recovery time will have me out of work and us a few thousand dollars short without some help so a roommate will be essential. That and we like having other friendly nerds around us.
