I recently accepted a job offer in Boston, MA in the South End area. I am going to forgo a car for now because I have not had a car in snowy conditions yet, so I am looking for a location that would be a shorter commute (ideally under 30 minutes, for example there is Back Bay and Beacon Hill.

I have visited but never lived in Boston before, so I am aiming for more than one roommate. It would nice to become friends with some of them, but you always have to see what happens-- there is no pressure if we don't happen to click.

As a roommate, I am clean, respectful, not overly loud (I don't blast music at top volume), and can cook. I personally am not looking to adopt a pet, but I should be fine with a roommate having a pet if we are a good fit. I am gluten free, but not celiac, so cross contamination is fine. If we cook something together, I could just make a different side for myself or bring my own bread.

In my spare time, I like going out into nature, exploring new places, reading, and hosting dinner parties. I am trying to start going to a workout class regularly (something like yoga). For tv and movies, I like comedy, history/historical fiction, romance, etc., but not strong horror or cringe-shock content. I like most music. I am somewhat of a foodie.
