I'm a creative introvert who loves to read, write, paint, and take pictures. I go on walks for fun. I tend to stay up late, but usually I'm reading or writing -- activities that don't make a whole lot of noise. I like people with a sense of humor.

The apartment is 15 minutes from Columbia and literally two blocks from City College. Back when I worked in an office, my commute to Hudson Square was 35 minutes. Moving to an apartment with access to the 125th Street A/B/C/D trains is the greatest decision I ever made in terms of NYC living situations. The entrance on 127th is not even 5 minutes from the building (and it's downhill). The 1 train at 125th isn't far either, and it's also quick and easy to get to the Metro North station via the M60 select bus service. (The bus ride to Laguardia is really easy too.)
The best part about this apartment is the ample living/kitchen room. It's cozy -- not "cozy" as in small, but comfortable. I have a diner booth with plenty of seating in the kitchen and a couch that's hard to get off of once you sit down. The bathroom is surprisingly spacious, and despite being north & east facing, we get a lot of natural light.
This listing is for the master bedroom. There's a walk-in closet and access to the fire escape. The room is furnished with a full size bed, desk, shelves, and a dresser. We're located on the 5th floor of an elevator building and we have access to laundry in the building next door.
