One private room and private bath for rent in a 2bd/2bth condo. Looking for a roommate(s) to take the second bedroom in a great location south of the boulevard in Sherman Oaks. The existing roommates are a musician couple in their 30's and tend to have late schedules, often involving work-from-home i.e. teaching online, late night phone calls overseas etc,. That being said, we tend to keep the volume down low after 9pm. Condo isn't a place to party until the late hours and we do try to keep it clean. Most neighbors here own the condo so everyone is friendly and respectful of the common space as well. Having people over to hang is never a problem but we do want to ensure that this unit isn't the cause for complaints. Sorry, no smoking or 4/20.

This 2 bed/2 bath condo has the "wow" factor when you walk in the entrance. The open loft floor plan allows an incredible amount of natural light to shine in from the second story windows. The unit is within walking distance of shopping, dining and nightlife of Ventura blvd. The building is in a quiet neighborhood on a tree-lined street. The spiral staircase leads to a private 400 sq/ft deck with BBQ, Firepit, string lighting and breakfast table with seating for 6. There is central AC in the unit along with a working gas fireplace.
You will have a bedroom with a large closet with sliding mirror doors, a bathroom adjacent to it and a pretty decent view. The kitchen has a new fridge, sink and stove. Street parking is available without permit. There are also very convenient dedicated guest parking spaces (4) in the garage that are always open for visitors. The building has a lot of amenities including on-site laundry, pool, jacuzzi and workout room. Utilities are wifi, electric/gas, and water.
Ideal roommate would be chill, responsible, reliable for rent and utilities, respectful and reasonably clean. Even better if you are in the entertainment or film industry, work a late night shift, and are a deep sleeper! We can be as friendly or as out of your hair as you want us to be.
Our current roommate will be moving to live with his best friend and he had a one year lease with a month to month extension. Our lease is the same but our starting date was March 2018. The landlord would like to sync up the lease dates so the remainder of your lease would end in March of 2019, however, preferably, a new 1 year lease would start around April of 2019. Considering the circumstances, the lease length after the March date can be flexible and up to discussion.
