Left my job and have been unable to get an acceptable offer within my field. Looking for someone to sublet my private room (shared with three other professionals mid to late twenties, two males one female).
Month of August will be paid for already, so if you can move in early you won't need to pay until the first of September.

Perfect for college students for the upcoming school year.
Detailed photos will be up by Wednesday, July 31st.
I left my job in late May and have been unable to get a desirable offer within my field leaving me in a rough financial spot. I'm moving back home to Philadelphia with my parents for the time being but in the meantime, I need to find a subletter for my private room. Looking for a long-term renter.
NO PETS!
Very close to the 1 train. Right on Broadway so buses are abundant as well. A vibrant, Spanish-speaking neighborhood with great food options as well as a bunch of young professionals and college students (City College and Columbia University are close by). Locksmiths nearby, multiple laundry options, you really never need to leave the few blocks nearby.
Personally, I love that the Riverbank State Park is only a couple blocks away; I do all my running, exercising and nature-walks there!
Also, roommates are very clean, respectful, friendly, professional and personable. We keep a Google document to expenditures on household supplies as well as who's turn it is to clean bathroom/kitchen areas. SHARED BATHROOM. Roommates are mid to late twenties, all working professionals (one works in midtown, other in FiDi, and the last at Columbia University). 2 males, one female.
If you're bringing guests or something always talk to the roommates, this is a given, but obviously, there are some people out there that think that they can do whatever they want without repercussions so just laying it out. Remember, your roommates are working professionals and they're definitely not party-animals.
The apartment is recently renovated as well with a working dishwasher and an updated kitchen and bathroom. We have a living room but nobody has really used it/moved into it.
I have the internet boxes set-up in my room, which is great for me as I have access to wired internet and the fastest internet in the apartment. Kind, helpful live-in super (he lives in the basement with his family).
What isn't so great about this place?
Noisy. The apartment is on the ground-level (first floor). It's not EXACTLY street-level, it's raised up, there are a metal fence with a sort-of trench between the sidewalk and the window, so it's not like people can just peer inside your room if they wanted to. (Orientation is sidewalk - metal fence - gap - bedroom window above street level).
The fire station is also only about a block away, so they always pass by the apartment. Also, the apartment is in close proximity to a bar and right above a barbershop. The barbershop and bars play music, although THIS room does not really get affected by it as the other rooms do thankfully.
The most annoying thing is definitely the noise, although running the window AC-unit usually drowns out the majority of all noises. Falling asleep can be annoying when you're not used to it, but I'd stay regardless of it due to the price, and proximity to the 1 train.
