About Me

Hi there!

I am a clean, friendly and respectful person who loves to cook and travel. I enjoy socializing but I also need my personal down time. I have had multiple types of roommates who, upon request, can provide feedback of our living space and vibes. I work well with others, give effective communication and budget well.
I have a dog who is 10+ years old and is very well trained. She has anxiety with noises (mostly loud noises) and loves to cuddle. She LOVES people and is unsure of other animals, but she is 1000% NOT aggressive. I am open to having another pet in my home. IF my roommate has a pet, I expect them to maintain their pet entirely: cleaning up after them, feeding and watering them, walking them, vet visits, etc.
I do not tolerate messiness or dirty areas. I expect my roommate to maintain their own spaces and to provide clear and timely communication when it comes to our bills, shared areas of the home and pressing issues that should be addressed ASAP.
I do not use scented candles, wax burners or air fresheners due to allergies.
I cook my own meals often (6-10 times/week). My work schedule is 8 AM-5 PM, however I occasionally work on Saturdays and am occasionally off 1-2 times during week days.

I look forward to having a roommate!

Bailey was my roommate during the course of our graduate school year, so approximately 11 months. During this time we were both away from our family so we practically became each other’s family during this time. She was really supportive and always encouraged me when I felt sad or anxious about school. Another aspect that I find admirable about Bailey is that she always respected my culture and me speaking my first language (Spanish) when I was on the phone with a family member, she never judged me for it. As a matter of fact, Bailey loved when we cooked together Mexican food. She is really a great person to have as a roommate, until this day we have been able to keep our friendship. As a roommate, Bailey is so considerate of the other person’s needs and wants in regards to apartment decor, organization, and cleaning. I never had any issues with her leaving a mess in the kitchen or any other area that we shared. Bailey and I each bought our own groceries and thankfully we never had any conflicts, she never grabbed from my food without asking. I must also mention that during our first semester in school Bailey brought along her dog, Aubey, which I miss so much because she was such a great dog. I never had any issues with Aubey, the apartment never smelled bad nor did Aubey ever had an “incident” in the apartment. I have had terrible, bad, good and exceptional roommates. Bailey is definitely an exceptional roommate. Bailey checks off a lot of the qualities you would look for in a roommate.
