I am generally quiet, clean, and tidy. If home, I am working, reading, watching Netflix, or organizing/selling items online. I do work from home and require a private and quiet space to do my work that is uninterrupted (loud enough by external noise). I intend to continue working from home. I live in a busy beach town where it is easy to step outside for fresh air, a walk by the beach, or to grab a drink. While this is an attractive place to live, a potential roommate needs to be aware that it is not quiet, particularly during the summer months. This unit is on a busy street corner and there is a train track that runs parallel to our building. With that said, there's lots to offer if you are okay with the drawbacks. I do eat mostly at home to stay on budget but would enjoy a roommate to get out with or spend time with when not working. I prefer small circles of friends. I don't eat a lot of meat (stick to mostly chicken and fish) but am not opposed to you eating whatever you desire.

Your room has a closet and attached spacious bathroom with entry from the hallway or your bedroom. While the closet is full length, the build and style of the closet offers a few shelves and smaller hanging room than is average. So, minimalists are welcome. Your window overlooks the south of Carlsbad with a restaurant being built directly across the street and is yet to be opened. We are on the second floor with wrap around patio/balcony that offers privacy. However, the balcony is quite narrow, and I have plants on each of them. There is sitting space for two at the moment. Otherwise, this building offers a spacious rooftop for grilling, hanging out, TV, etc. We are walking distance to a multitude of restaurants, coffee shops, bars and the beach. The train station is steps away. The building offers a coveted garaged parking space and courtyard space to get sun. I have a cat and no additional animals will be allowed (ESA or not). Nonsmokers only. I am okay with edibles, but no smoking of any kind as it is not only a nuisance and health hazard, but illegal here.
