ME:

I'm an offbeat classical composer looking for a friendly, responsible, good-willed human (no raccoons need apply) to create a harmonious home in my newly renovated apartment in Jersey City.

I want to do more than just co-exist under the same roof----chat at the kitchen counter when we're free, maybe watch a move--while also respecting each other's need for privacy and space (I'm an extroverted introvert--or is it the other way around?) I spend most of my time alone in my room but would like to interact with my roomie when I venture out.

I have a gentle grey scaredy-cat. If you have a sweet cat, it's welcome, too (dogs and caged pets aren't).

THE APARTMENT:

There's a big backyard with a lovely wooden table and benches for morning coffee or after-work cocktails, curling up with a good book...

There's an amazing chef's kitchen: two ovens, a 6 burner stove, dishwasher, stainless steel fridge, lots of counter space, and a huge sink.

The washer and dryer is one flight but is just for us. The bathroom has a tub, a rain shower and hand-held wand, plus a bidet (oh la la!). There's a coat closet, broom closet, linen closet--lots of storage space!

YOUR ROOM:

Has an antique dresser, bookshelf, endtable and lamp, closet with upper shelf, double bed base--everything but a mattress, which I didn't include in case you have (or prefer to get) your own; otherwise I can provide a new one.

Common area cleanliness and recycling are important to me, as do a limit on overnight guests, and being in clear communication. We can figure out the rest of the details together.
