I'm a friendly composer with an offbeat sense of humor and a shy, gentle, gray cat that I speak only French to. She, however, speaks only cat.

I’m looking for another friendly, good-willed human being (no raccoons need apply), who wants to do more than just live under the same roof--someone to chat with at the kitchen counter when we’re free, maybe watch a movie together--while also respecting each other's need for privacy and space. I'm an extroverted introvert (or is it the other way around?) I spend most of my time alone in my room but would like to interact with my roomie when I venture out. You should be a nice person (what's that?) with a sense of humor about life, who takes responsibility for themselves both personally and financially (i. e. you're not moody and you pay your rent on time ;) who's good at direct, open communication.

Important to me: common area cleanliness and emotional maturity. They prevent a multitude of sins. Oh, and recycling, but that's mostly my cat's thing, she's a real stickler for recycling--once she got very upset because someone tried to recycle a plastic bag. Cats, am I right?
