Available Room for Rent
Sunny, peaceful, quiet, free transportation to downtown
We have a sunny 12 ft x 11 ft room available May 1st in our comfy and clean Baker Beach apartment. (Picture shows room furnished with Queen sized bed.)
This is one of two rooms available and this is the bigger room.
The apartment is very sunny, quiet, and on the 2nd floor of a 3 story building. Because we live in the presidio which is federal land, you must pass a background check before you're able to sign onto the lease. This is a non-negotiable requirement.

Who we are:
T is a working woman. Mid 20’s. USF alumna. She works in tech full-time downtown Monday through Friday and enjoys hanging at home and cooking in her spare time. Very laidback and always likes to keep things clean and tidy. Loves red wine and a good Pilsner. Partner to V. Co-parent to a tiny 5 lb chihuahua. (See pic)
V is a full time master's in refugee/immigration studies student who runs her own translation/interpreter service. Currently studying at USF. Mid 20’s. Loves baking, cooking, reading, learning, traveling. Partial to martinis. Co-parent to said tiny chihuahua. Partner to T.
We are both Latinx and bilingual. We are a same sex couple and please know this will be a queer/LGBT space. We would welcome other LGBT folk :)
We would also welcome a grad/law student or recent graduate who is looking to stay in the city.
We are looking for someone who:
- is a full time worker or someone gainfully employed/financially supported with the ability to pay all rent/utilities/housing supplies on time every month.
- is preferably a woman, but we will interview anyone interested.
- is able to communicate openly and effectively.
- doesn't bring the party home and prefers to chill.
- loves to clean and is inherently a clean person.
- would love to hang with our chihuahua and loves dogs.
- loves food and wouldn’t mind sharing a meal at the table with us
About the apartment & area:
- 2 min walk to the 29 MUNI bus and 30 second walk to the free PresidiGo shuttle that takes you to the downtown PresidiGo.
-Commute to Embarcadero BART is 45 minutes and also FREE! That’s right, get to FiDi for free every morning.
- Our apartment is furnished, has a dishwasher, and our own personal washer/dryer in the apartment.
-We share the kitchen, living room, and there is 1 shared bathroom. This is usually never an issue as we coordinate and have opposite schedules most of the time.
- You will be able to have your own storage in the kitchen, although we have almost everything you may need
- the presidio is super safe and quiet. We are a 5 minute walk to Baker Beach. Our living room has a view of the ocean and you will see many beautiful sunsets.
- there is a lot of street parking and two spots directly in front of the apartment if you have a car.
