About Me

Hi my name is Anthony and I just recently graduated SUNY Cortland and am looking to move to Queens. I previously lived with 11 other people so downsizing to 1 person seems like the best idea for me haha.

When it comes to my personality, I am very go with the flow. I can talk about pretty much anything, but I could also just do my own thing and not bother someone too. I like learning about anything and everything, so I tend to listen a lot more than speaking, but that doesn’t mean I’m completely silent.

I like reading, love watching TV, and I get really into sports (especially football, basketball, and hockey). I am an amateur guitar player, but don’t request something because odds are I don’t know it; I will learn any song though if you ask.

When it comes to going out, it really depends on my mood. I am more of a “smoke-friendly” and casual drinker type of dude rather than a stay up until 5am at a club and wait for the Uber guy, though from time-to-time I’ll do that too. The thing is, I have mellowed out and like being a bit more calmer when I go out.

As for living with me, I am very clean and I pick up after myself, but I do understand how busy life can get so I don’t get mad when things aren’t cleaned immediately. As long as there’s no mess for a long period of time, I’m fine with it. Like I said in that first paragraph, I don't have to talk every minute of the day, so if we find ourselves hanging out in the living room and there’s nothing to talk about, that completely fine.

I’m a big believer in transparency and talking if there’s an issue. The last thing I want is to be living with someone who hates me because of something I do, so I’m very open when it comes to talking about living issues. I’d rather have one uncomfortable conversation about something going on, then have one of us be passive aggressive to each other.

In the nature of transparency, I also think that it’s a good idea to let each other know if company will be coming over or if something is being planned at the apartment. I previously had a roommate who never told me when his gf was coming over and I’d walk in on them once in awhile. I’d like to avoid that again haha.

I’d really like to find a roommate because this is a big transition in my life right now and I don’t really know many people in Queens. It would be nice to have someone to get through this with. So to whoever responds to this profile, I appreciate you and I hope this works out.
