Your own comfortable private room in a classic, well-kept, character-filled NYC walkup apartment with comfortable full/queen bed, dresser space, mini-chef's kitchen, reliable shared facilities, hair dryer, water boiler, open dining area and living space, with a semi-private path to the bathroom, shower, and front door. The large bedroom windows offer Western exposure and you can see the sunset up the street, the clouds, and the tree tops below. Excellent collection of books. Perfect place for a graduate student or someone who travels in and out town and wants a reliable place to stay.
About me: I'm a mature, health-conscious professional writer/editor and seasoned traveler, fully vaccinated, calm and easygoing, long time resident of the area, and work-at-home creator. I can offer expert advice about the area and NYC in general. I keep a peaceful environment at home for the sake of my work, so I would hope my potential roommate would do the same. I do like to cook and listen to music in the evening to relax.
Rules: No smoking, no drugs, no pets, no disturbing the neighbors, no excessive noise or behavior. Mutual respect. This is my longtime home, so I will require deposit, first/last month rent plus personal/professional verification.
