Non-dating, straight woman seeking a dog-friendly room. My roots are in the Pacific Northwest but my heart resides in Texas. I left corporate America to be a Professional Dog Trainer. It was the best choice I’ve ever made! I am the Dog Trainer and Dog Training Program Manager at Camp Bow Wow in Texas. I have a hound dog and a small husky. They go to work with me every day and will likely hang out in my room with me unless I’m cooking. I do need a fenced yard. They don’t dig, are non-destructive and well-trained. I’m a former newspaper reporter, marketing professional and ad agency drone. I’m very independent and study a lot because I’m finishing my Master Certification as a Professional Dog Trainer. My personality type is ENFP-T and I’m an Enneagram 4 (Individualist). I’m grad school educated. I listen to music of every genre. I’m also a lover of books and poetry. I listen to podcasts on the regular. I gravitate toward documentaries, edgy drama, dark humor and stand up comedy. I’m a foodie and gluten free, healthy home cook. Iced coffee is my only vice. I love a top shelf Cab and any robust red wine but I don’t drink much. I appreciate galleries, museums and culture. I’m outdoorsy and like hiking, camping and the smell of a bonfire in my hair. A leisurely paddle on an SUP with my dogs is my happy place. I love music festivals, farmers and flea markets and thrift stores. I strive to reduce my bio footprint. I’m prayerful and spiritual. Nature is my sanctuary. I don’t do church. I prefer theological literature digested outside. I read the Bible but believe it is open to interpretation. Love is love and our Creator is made us how we identify. I’m very clean and organized and require the same. I rarely have guests and don’t party or care for them. I like a peaceful home.
