I’m a non-binary professional comic book editor (they/them pronouns only) who loves reading, science fiction, cooking, and cats. I work full-time for a publishing company, so my income is steady and I’m not working freelance. Most of the time I’m in the office, but I might be working from home sporadically during the year.
I’m tidy but not a neat freak, so a little clutter won’t bother me so long as there’s nothing gross happening in the sink or the bathroom. I’ve seen Sharknado more than a dozen times now and that may or may not be reflected in my home decorating. I’m happy to share whatever so long as there’s mutual respect for the place!
I’m renting out the master bedroom in my apartment and looking for a trans-friendly roommate who’s interested in sharing space and hopefully being friends.

Looking for a trans-friendly COVID-conscious roommate! Apartment is a lovely large 1930’s style 2B1B on the first-floor of a four unit complex in Mid-Wilshire, in the middle of a quiet residential cross street (you can hear birds with the windows open) less than a four minute walk from a combined Target/Sprouts/CVS, bus stops, and some really great restaurants.
- All hardwood floors and gets a ton of natural light
- Little grassy patio type area out front, and fruit trees in the back
- Single car garage, all yours
- Walk-in closet
- Dishwasher, microwave, oven, central heating
- On-site laundry and in-unit washer/dryer hookup
- Recently renovated kitchen and bathroom
- Pet friendly (I have a cat, no dogs please)
- Portable AC will be installed in spring but it stays very cool
- Furnished common areas
- Walking distance from Target/Sprouts/CVS/restaurants
- Rent-controlled, water and trash included
The apartment is well-maintained and cared for, and I just moved in recently so decorating decisions can definitely be more collaborative. I am hoping to stay here for a while, and while not strictly required I would prefer a longer term roommate too. I’ve lived in the area for two years now, just new to this apartment.
The room is available now but I’m open to a later move-in, so feel free to reach out if you’re thinking about early 2021. I’m happy to virtually tour the place and I’d love to meet first to make sure we’re compatible. Meeting or touring safely in person might not be possible this December, but we can talk it through.
I’m a full-time comic book editor, and part-time couch potato. I like to cook and keep the place tidy. I work for a digital comics publisher in LA, currently work from home but presumably back in the office eventually.
When I’m not working I like to watch movies and shows, play video games, DnD, draw, and read. I’d love to find a roommate I can share space and maybe meals with. I’m high risk, so I’m being very careful about COVID and will need you to be too.
