I've been out on Long Island for the pandemic but I'm looking forward to moving into the city this Spring so that I can enjoy the city and more easily commute to my job. My price range is under $1000 a month, preferably close to $850 if possible. I would be on site at my job 3-5 days a week.

I'm a pretty quiet and laid back person. I've had many roommates over the years and enjoyed them all. But I will say that I'd much prefer a roommate who can maintain clean, clutter free shared spaces. I'm open to any level of connection. If you'd prefer to be friendly acquaintances who respect each other's privacy, that's fine with me. If you're looking to develop a friendship, occasionally make dinner together or explore the city together, I'm up for it! Sometimes after a tiring day at work, I may need to retreat to my room. I'll always respect if you want to do the same.

I (along with my cat) will spend some weekends on LI and (after I'm vaccinated) visiting friends. It would be nice to have a roommate who also occasionally is away for a weekend, so that we each have time with the apartment to ourselves. I have a silly, sweet, playful cat, and it's important to me that you will enjoy having a him around. If your are in a relationship, I'm open to having your partner occasionally visit and spend the night but would be annoyed if it was a daily occurrence. Weekend evenings with friends is fine, so long as the noise isn't super loud (especially after midnight). I take Covid precautions seriously and would want a roommate who does too.

I'm hoping to find an apartment near Prospect Park (or perhaps Green-Wood?), near a Planet Fitness, near a B or C train line (or a line with an easy transfer to one of these), near a Citibike station. I'm open to 1 or 2 roommates. I'd like my bedroom to have a window(s) with nice light (and hopefully the other parts of the apt). I'd like to be able to make the living spaces (shared and unshared) really beautiful - something nice to come home to.
