Intro:
Hi! I'm Madison, I'm 18, and I graduated high school last year and recently got into marketing. I love animals, traveling, and music. My job will involve traveling so I may be out sometimes, but I'll always have notice. I like zombie movies, cartoons, anime, and comics. If I had to pick a current favorite TV show it'd probably be fruits basket, an anime thats super cute and romantic lol. I probably won't be bringing any one night stands around, as I'd rather have a serious relationship, but I'm fine with whatever you do as long as you put a sock on the door or something. I'm hearing impaired so if you wanna blast music or something I can adjust my hearing aid.
Information on lifestyle:
I typically get up around 8 on weekdays, sometimes as soon as 6. I get back late most work days. Saturdays are optional work days and sometimes have meetings. Sunday I'll probably always be in the house if I'm not out with friends. I'll probably crash and sleep most of the weekends. My workdays run typically from 11:30am to 9-10pm ish. There are office nights on Tuesday and Thursday so I may be home later, but I usually will go to sleep or get to bed almost immediately.
I do have a medical disability but I don't need accommodations other than a service dog. My service dog will be fully if not mostly trained by the move in date and will go to work with me. It is not an ESA, this is a task trained assistance animal that helps me to live a normal life. Because she is a service dog it doesn't matter if the space is pet friendly and the land lord can not charge any pet fees or deny me access to the complex/building. They can only request a doctor note and proof of health.
I am not required to disclose information on my disability but I will because I'm fairly open about it. I have Auditory Processing Disorder, which is a hearing impairment. Basically I'm hard of hearing. I'll be getting a hearing aid later this month (late january early febuary). I also have fibromyalgia, which results in falls, aches, and pains. Despite this I'm almost fully mobile and most people don't notice. My job is a lot of walking and traveling and I'm fully capable of doing so with some support from medical devices and my dog. I just can't run without intense pain in my legs and/or losing feeling in them. Before I got sick I was extremely athletic and aim to be again in the future once I have better pain management.
The tasks my dog will preform are:
Waking me up in case of an emergency such as a fire
Counterbalance
Mobility
Leading me to people who call me
DPT
Med reminder
Medical Alert
