Available Room for Rent
Two rooms available in large three bedroom apartment with private roof deck
Two rooms are available in a 3-person apartment at the Allegro with move in early August (dates flexible).
ROOM 1 (images 1-3): This room is the loft. We built a fake wall/door around the staircase entrance so it stays completely private and not much noise leaks in or out when the door is closed. Big enough for bed, dresser, bookshelves, desk, and plenty of other furniture, and has a built out closet. Room has a sliding glass door that leads to private roof deck, as well as its own heat/AC unit. Shares a downstairs bathroom with room 2. Rent typically $1100-$1200 depending on utilities.
ROOM 2 (images 7-8): A standard bedroom just off the living room. Has a closet and is big enough for a full or queen bed and dresser as well as other furniture. Shares bathroom with room 1. Rent typically $1200-$1300 depending on utilities.
APARTMENT: A very modern kitchen and living room with updated appliances and lots of open space and natural light. Washer/dryer in unit. Large, private rooftop deck accessible through room 1. Third bedroom is master with own bathroom (not currently available for rent). Pets are allowed although you have to pay an additional fee. No pets currently live in the apartment. The Allegro has a garage, fitness center, and many other amenities, and is surrounded by great restaurants and just a few blocks away from the Columbia Heights metro station, Giant, and a large shopping center.
ROOMMATE: I'm a 26-year-old female education policy analyst at a think tank. I've lived here for a year with two other roommates, one female and one male, who are now moving out to go back to school. I'm pretty easy going: relatively clean and quiet, but also always down to have friends over when that's a thing again.
