I am currently leasing a med. / large house near I-225 & Yosemite, until sometime between next April - June. Only son leaving to start new life in coming weeks and long-term spouse and I separating and she has just moved out, which is impetus for looking for 1-2 persons to share house. Six-month term, possibly up to eight months.
Two dogs live here, a beagle and a cockapoo, as it stands today the cockapoo is moving away next month and the beagle is staying here with me, but up to 50/50 chance both dogs stay here until next summer. Very open to someone with a small to medium size dog to be friends and run around the large dog-friendly yard (served by doggie door). Lots of grass plus trees plus section of wild vegetation, lots of birds, squirrels, smells, etc. Four-minute drive to Cherry Creek State Park (SW entrance across from the high school) where I take my dogs a few times per week.
Greenwood Village King Soopers. Going north a Wal-Mart is within 5 minutes. One minute to access either I-25 or I-225. House abuts a busy road and there is traffic noise, but upshot is there is only a neighbor on one side and they have barking dogs too, so dogs can be themselves. Back patio has a grill, hot tub, patio furniture, propane fire pit, etc. Large kitchen has all requirements, pots, pans, air fryer, dishes, k-cup coffee, etc., with empty cabinets and half-empty freeze (there is also a chest freezer in basement). WiFi, although no cable TV (large screen TV has HD antenna though and streaming apps). Nice formal dining room with large table, mostly used for working (very open to converting that room to other use, home office, for a child, etc.). Two-car wide driveway, plenty of parking (garage not available as part of this, my outdoor stuff, bikes, jeep parts, etc. live in there). Laundry room, nice machines, iron, built in areas to hang dry clothes, etc. There will be less stuff here shortly an orange chair in the living room photo will be gone, and the large white dining table may sell. Potential to provide one nice bed and dresser, or can provide empty bedroom(s). For the right match I'm flexible.
The rental will come with 2 bedrooms and a private bathroom. In addition, while I currently use the large open basement for my home office, I'm open to re-locating that to allow you to set up your own private living room downstairs, or your own home office, etc. Note in photos one photo shows basement set up as a living room, that is older from last occupant but just for reference. All utilities included in rent (water, electric, heat, WiFi). There is storage available in a weather-proof locked shed and rear basement storage room. No heavy drinking, no smoking inside. I sometimes smoke cigars in garage or back patio. No drugs (moderate outside cannabis fine). I don't really have guests, I tend to go to mountains or city outings with friends and family, but don't entertain here. Light entertaining on your part is fine. It's a nice house, nice place for the right person needing a good short-term fit in a convenient area of the city!
Open to one person who doesn't want just a single BD with a bunch of other people and who needs a separate private office area (or workout room, whatever) or more privacy and space, open to a single parent who needs a second BD for child, or open to a couple who needs more space. I have considered getting two people to each rent a room but really don't want that kind of scenario if it can be avoided even if it could be more attractive financially to me. The landlord is flexible with my leave date next year, it's currently set for May 1 but could be extended until as late as July 1.
