Hi! I'm currently studying at Pratt, and unfortunately will not be continuing to live with my current roommate as she is graduating this Spring. I'm hoping to live with another non-male person. Other than that, I don't have many specific wants. I'd just like to be made aware when friends are over, would like to live close-ish to campus (ideally a 15-20 minute walk away and near a train stop). And maybe we could occasionally hangout :) Also, we don't need a chore chart, but just making sure things get done on both of our ends and being able to compromise is something that I value in a roommate.
I like spending time in the living room but keep to myself too. When I'm not super busy with school I do like to cook, but nothing extravagant. I like to keep my environment clean, but it doesn't need to be sterile, I just don't like to see excess clutter (especially since NYC apartments are so small). Generally, I'm very flexible. I value communication, assertiveness, and understanding in a roommate. I've been living with other people for over 4 years off-and-on, and in that time those things have been the most grounding.
I also have almost an entire apartment's worth of furnishings and lots of kitchen tools, etc., so I am looking for somewhere to put those. Also, I am sober! But I am 420-friendly, would just prefer no alcohol in the house unless we're throwing a party or it's moderated, you get it. I am also queer so naturally, LGBTQ+ friendly.
The rent budget I have listed includes utilities. Per month, I'm hoping to pay $1450 or less for my room.
My maximum monthly budget | 1,650 |
Move in Date | May 2024 |
Age | 19 |
Pets | No Pets |
Education | In College |
We think Andi would be a great roommate! But in case you want to see more…
