About Me

Looking for a non-sketchy living arrangement for 1 small /medium sized quiet human (me), 1 small, quiet & very well housebroken dog, and 1 small, ornery reptile (in tank) that we can move into between December 15 - 17th. If possible, I want to keep my total cost for utilities & rent at or below $450 - 500 / month.
>
My credit is horrible (thanks to an ex I shared a lease with), but my accounts with APS, SRP, and City of Phoenix Water Services are all in good standing if the situation should call for me to get utilities turned on in my name in exchange for a reduction in monthly rent.
>
My dog gets along pretty well with cats and other dogs. I also have a removable / adjustable pet door for her that slides into the track of a sliding patio door, if the residence has one.
>
I'm not concerned about a potential roommate's age, race, color, creed, ethnic origin, gender identity, orientation, relationship status, or sexual preference.
>
I have a generously liberal attitude toward others’ (legal) expression of choice and free will to work, play, and live however they choose.
>
I don’t care about what you do or don't do (i.e. 420, etc.), because it's none of my business.
>
About me - I'm a light drinker (mostly wine), and I smoke disposable electronic cigarettes that produce water vapor.
>
I can pass a background check with flying colors but I really don't care about others' recreation so long as it doesn't result in cop-drama.
>
I mind my own business, pay my bills, don't live like a pig, rarely entertain guests (only 2 people in town I text, visit, talk to semi-regularly / all family back East).
>
I also stay as far away from other people's stuff and personal space as I can get so long as they don't steal my stuff and force me to liberate my shit to retrieve it.
>
I usually don't come out of my room except to go to the bathroom, or make food. I also don't answer the door because unless I ordered pizza or Doordash, it's probably not for me.
>
I also try my best to be kind, reasonable, and to not be a jerk.
>
I can't think of another way to give any potential roommates a way to decide if I'd be a good fit for the living situation than maybe to offer them a look at my résumé.
>
Less than a year ago, I was employed with a state agency, but my position was eliminated and there were no available openings into which I could make a lateral move.
>
At the moment, I'm working in retail.
