Two roommates (1 male, 1 female) are looking for a third roommate to share their three-bedroom, one bathroom apartment located in a quiet building in the heart of Astoria. Located just off of Ditmars Blvd at 41st Street, the apartment is close to everything. We are a short walk to the N/W Ditmars Blvd stop and you can hop the bus to the R/M Steinway Street stop. Both lines are quick rides to Manhattan. There are many restaurants located nearby as well as grocery stores and laundry mats.
The apartment is located on the second floor of a four-family home. We are both friendly, clean, quiet and respectful of each other and are looking for the same in our new roommate. The common areas include one bathroom, a small kitchen and a furnished living room. The bedroom is modest at 76 square feet with one floor to ceiling closet and a window, but very functional.
There are resident pets, one small dog and one cat, so unfortunately, we cannot accommodate any more pets.
Move in requirement are one month’s security deposit and first month’s rent. Move-in date begins May 1st but we are flexible and can offer prorated first month’s rent. We split the electric bill three ways, it is approximately $30 per person in the winter and $60 in the summer.
Please have references and proof of income available. The final stage is a criminal background check, required by our landlord.
We are a smoke free home and have a zero tolerance policy when it comes to illegal narcotics.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we will first be offering photos and virtual tours of the apartment and virtual interviews to get to know each other before any in-person showings, for everyone’s safety.
