I work for the NYC Department of Social Services. I'm a gay male and very laid back. I get along with most people of any age. I have friends in their early 20s to those in the 60-70 range. I don't care what people do in their personal lives as long as it doesn't hurt others. I believe that respect is the basis for relationships and interactions.

I have a 2-bedroom apartment in Washington Heights. The 2nd bedroom will be available by December 18 but may be available sooner as the current roommate says he is leaving before then. The bedroom is very large and can easily fit a queen bed with other furniture as well (about 15x12). The living room has been converted into a 3rd bedroom, and that roommate has 2 dogs which are well-behaved and quiet. We are LQBQTIA+ friendly and expect the same.
The neighborhood is quite vibrant. There is a large Latinx population, but there is also a sizable Jewish community. Both the 1 and A trains are within a few blocks, and there are several bus lines that also run nearby. I find it easy to get to Midtown or Downtown within 20-30 minutes. There are several grocery stores and other shopping nearby, including a small Target.
Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or would like to see the room/apartment. Rent is equally divided between all 3 roommates and is currently $728 but will go up to $751 when the lease renews on February 1. Utilities are separate and shared equally, but I do provide internet without any additional charge. The room is not furnished so you would have to bring your own furniture, but we can discuss it further if that is an issue.
