About Me

I’ve been in the New York area for quite some time! I grew up on Long Island, undergraduate education in the City University of New York and have been working in New York since. I’ve lived in College Point, Bedford-Stuyvesant, Alphabet City, Columbus Circle, Astoria and Kips Bay (current).

As with most NYC professionals I treat my own time and other individual’s time as a nonrenewable resource. I try to live an active lifestyle which includes a variety of activities including running, cycling, a little bit of Muay Thai, and Crossfit. I am actively looking for a squash partner to learn from so that would be a plus!
Other people would rate my social skills to be above average. I try to keep a positive attitude and interesting conversation wherever I go. I am an advocate for diversity so I prefer to live with a mixed-group of people.

I currently live with close friends (1 guy, 1 girl) that I have met through my time in New York. We are there for each other, spend most evenings having dinner together and mix social circles quite often. Most importantly we are each other’s best advisors. I would prefer an apartment has a potential to feel like a home as opposed to a place with a bed. Most of the people here are transplants from other places with limited family access, so I try to keep a friendly atmosphere with roommates.

In terms of socializing I do go out, on occasion I may host people for dinner/drinks/both but at this point in my life I am past 30. I prefer to treat my home as a home and not as a place to pass through. I find myself to be the tidy / cleanly side.
Feel free to reach out and start a conversation about last weekend. I look forward to finding new flatmates!
