Looking for a mid to long term renter/subletter to take over for a roommate that is moving out. The apartment itself is recently renovated with a washer/dryer, dishwasher, a modern bathroom, and a kitchen.
Your room will be the biggest in the apartment and gets the most natural light too. It can comfortably fit a desk, queen sized bed and also has a lot of storage space in the closet.
Your roommates will be late 20-something year old guys. I work at a startup as a software engineer and the other roommate works in financial services. We like to go out to bars and drink socially with our friends at our apartment on the weekends, but on weeknights we like to keep things low key and the apartment will generally be pretty quiet by 11PM during the week.
In terms of logistics, the move in date is July 1st. We have to re-sign our lease by May 30th, and so we're open to having a new roommate sign the lease with us. The other option being that you could also just sublet the room (we're able to re-sign the lease with just the two of us.) If you'd like to sublet the minimum stay is 3 months and it can go for an indeterminate amount of time. To reserve the room we would ask for the 1st months rent up front and 30 days notice before you move out so that we can find another roommate. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions. If you want to sign the lease with us then you'll also have to pay a deposit which will be a single months rent to the landlord.
Utilities, tv + internet usually run about $100 per roommate per month, with summer being the more expensive months because of the AC units running and winter being slightly cheaper since we don't pay for the heating bill. We also pay for a cleaning lady to come slightly less often than every month and that runs about ~$30-40 per roommate. So with those costs added in your monthly costs will be around 2200 per month.
