Hi!! I am moving to the NY area to be closer to my adult children and their spouses. They live in Greenpoint Brooklyn and in New Jersey area. I'm moving from Colorado. I was married for 24 years and raised my wonderful children in Colorado. I have stayed in Colorado while they have lived so far away, thinking that at least one of them would return to live here one day. At this point, it has now been over 13 years since I have lived near them and they have made it clear they are staying put back east for the forseeable future. I have many close friends here in denver of more than 33 years but they are all married and having grandchildren so very busy with their own lives... I have worked in public health for the past many years and played a vital role in helping to control the spread of Covid during the pandemic.. I have also worked in community support to assist families and individuals with needed resources providing healthcare, food, housing, and more. I am struggling to find a nice, comfortable and safe place to live in the NY/NJ Area on a single woman's income. It would be so wonderful to find a roommate! I am a respectful, easy going, extremely honest, people loving lady! I am clean but not obsessively. I like to be social but also very much enjoy my privacy and quiet times. I value family, good friends and have a good sense of humor! I'm pretty active for my age and enjoy hiking, riding bikes, pickleball, tennis, gardening, jewelry making, and much more! I am a non smoker and need to live with someone who does not smoke at all. I would probably not have many guests over except for maybe it would be nice to have my kids for dinner now and then. I really enjoy cooking! Thank you!!
